SUMMIT AWARDS

The goal of the Summit Awards Program is to recognize the outstanding achievements of our members, encourage innovation, resourcefulness, and collaboration, and celebrate the impact of the work we do in our communities.

ELIGIBILITY

One entry per member, per category
Member must be in good standing with dues current at the time of entry
Entry must be received at the MontanaFair Office by October 10, 2025

DIVISIONS
A - Fair / Festival with attendance up to 50,000
B - Fair / Festival with attendance 50,001 to 149,999
C - Fair / Festival with attendance 150,000 & up
D - Service Member

AWARDS
The top 2 entries will be selected in each category, in each division, and will receive:

Division A:
1st Place = $200 & plaque 2nd Place = $100
Division B:
1st Place = $100 & plaque 2nd Place = $50
Division C:
1st Place = plaque 2nd Place = certificate
Division D:
1st Place = $100 2nd Place = $50

EVALUATION
A review committee will be appointed by the hosting fair to judge the entries using the provided criteria.

All submissions must include the following to be considered a complete entry:
1. Entry Form - Must be legible and complete
2. Category Item - Actual item being entered must have a label on the back of the entry with the name of the member, division, and category.

Fair/Festival Categories:

Promotional Poster - used to market your event
Event Guide - distributed at the gate or in advance (could include schedules, sponsors, etc)
Theme - use of a single theme across the event, may include special logo, classes, activities/contests, or awards
Photograph w/People - the primary focus of the photo should be a person or people
Photography w/ Animals - the primary focus of the photo should be an animal or animals
Photograph, Other - primary focus of the photo should NOT be people or animals (i.e. exhibits, performances, contests, or attractions)
Premium Book / Competitive Exhibit Guide / Prize Listing
Website Landing Page - used to market or provide information about your event
Social Media Post - a single post used to market your event
Agriculture Promotion - promotion designed to educate the public
Non-Fair Event - produced / organized by Fair/Festival staff
Innovative Sponsorship Approach

Service Member Categories:

Promotional Poster - used to market your act /services
Promotional Brochure - used to market your act /services
Website Landing Page - used to market or provide information about your act / services
Social Media Post - a single post used to market your act / services
