Campbell County Fair Board is seeking an experienced, highly motivated individual to serve as County Fair Coordinator.This position is responsible for the organization, coordination and implementation of the annual county fair under the direction of the County Fair Board.
Duties include coordinating all aspects of the fair including advertising, promotion, arranging entertainment, and providing a welcoming venue for exhibitors and the public.Other duties include:Departmental budgeting; staffing; bookkeeping; maintaining effective internal and external relationships; preparing board minutes; insuring effective use of electronic and social media for communications and advertisement.The successful applicant will have three to four years of applicable experience, a proven track record of working independently to successfully achieve goals under the direction of a board, the ability to deal effectively with the public, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast paced self-directed work environment.The position does require some travel and evening work.A complete job description and application is available on our website:http://www.ccgov.net/HR/
